They start out blue but these wonderful hydrangeas soon turn pink!!
I know it has to do with the acidity of the soil but I'd rather think they were magic!
These are my astilbe that are in full bloom right now.
I have a lot of the old fashioned single hollyhocks.
They remind me of my grandmother's garden.
I didn't know till yesterday that hummingbirds liked them! I saw them going from flower to flower while I sat not 5 feet from them.
Yesterday I had a snack on my kitchen porch.
What could be better in the summer than S'mores . . .
. . . and tea!!

your hydrangea and holly hocks are so pretty, true summer. Don't you love watching hummingbirds, I do ours
ReplyDeleteI can almost smell the flowers. Lovely hydrangeas! I love how they feel. Several years ago I was at a nursery and kept rubbing my hands over them because they felt so good. One of these days I am going to buy some.
ReplyDeleteSmores - what a perfect idea for this weekend.
Have a wonderful pink weekend.
