A Photo Shoot

Sunday evening I went with my daughter while she did a photo shoot with a woman and her beautiful black and white shire horse. I sometimes go along to help "get the horse's ears". Which means to get his attention so his ears are forward and he is looking at the camera. It's fun and I enjoy it. I use a stick with a plastic bag attached to wave around, a can with rocks to shake or a tape recorder with horse sounds, winnies etc. on it. This usually works really well. The horse's owner had him all cleaned, bathed and brushed out. His large mane and tail looked fantastic. A shire horse is a very large draft breed and very impressive. He was very gentle and docile which is good because the owner was wearing sandals next to this giant horse with hooves as large as plates! Near the end of the shoot, the owner climbed up on him and rode bareback around the pasture. This photo is one of many my daughter took of this horse.
