A New Fun App

I learned about this app on a great website called Lavender Cottage.

(She also runs the Mosaic Monday link party)

The app is called Waterlogue and it turns your photos into watercolor paintings.

Some photos convert nicer than others.

I found that flowers and still life do the best but you can try all kinds of photos and see what you think.

As you can see I'm trying to think of warmer weather!!!

Think Spring . . . Think Summer!!!

Inspiring Homesteading Blog Site

I was reading blogs about farms and gardening last night when I came across this great one.  I have to pass it on.  I spent quite a lot of time looking all over the site and going to other homesteading sites that you can get from there.

 When I walked out this morning to let my chickies out, I looked at my acre of land in a whole new light. 

I'm naming it My Square Acre Homestead.

Have fun looking around!  She almost makes me want to get goats now!!!

I first started following her blog because she has the "now famous" "Foodie Friday"! 

That was the first blog party I ever put a recipe on because I never thought of myself as a "cook".  But as her blog says, it is "Recipes and Design for Exhausted People"!

I have to list this blog at the top of my favorites.  It's the blog that got me started blogging about 3 years ago.  I'm sure most of the bloggers out there that look at decorating type blogs knows about Susan's blog:  Between Naps On The Porch.

I chose this photo because shortly after I saw it, I copied it!  I went to some garage sales, bought a couple old chairs painted them white, distressed them and got my geranium plants.  I was impressed!

I think one of my very first blogs has my rendition of it pictured!!

The inside of Susan's home is so beautiful and her decorating talent is amazing.

She's also the one who started me tablescaping!!!!
