I'm joining in with a little mosaic this Monday. Thanks to Mary at The Little Red House for hosting. Look and see all the mosaics at: http://dearlittleredhouse.blogspot.com/
My sister Sue makes wonderful handmade cards. She does them for herself, for friends and family but refuses to get into selling them as she says that would take the fun away and it would be like a job. We started scrap-booking about the same time but I quickly lost interest (after buying a million things!) but she has just kept on with it getting better and better. I am going to feature some of her cards along the way in different "parties". So keep an eye out for them. I'll see if she'll send me a picture of her craft room! It truly is like a store!
You can click on this picture to make it even bigger.
She made all my Christmas cards for me this year. However, I forgot to take a picture of one before I sent them!! DAH! Maybe she has an extra?
Who wouldn't feel privileged to get a handmade card!
Shirley
Those are really beautiful. Your sister is very talented, and you are very lucky to have such unique cards to send. Thanks for sharing.

Shirley, I remember you mentioning these before. Oh they are so nice. They look very professional but yet they are so unique they don't look run of the mill.
ReplyDeleteI am just helping a friend of my son's make her wedding invitations and I think we need someone like you sister on our speed dial.
These are beautiful - what a talent and I admire her not losing the fun by turning it into a job.
