I'm joining Colorado Lady for the first time for "Vintage Thingies". Take a trip over to her blog and get a list of the others that are participating. http://coloradolady.blogspot.com/
This first photo is of a beautiful old brown transfer teapot from my Aunt Addah. She collected brown transfer and I was lucky enough to inherit some of it. The little baby shoes are mine!! Yes, it's true, I'm vintage!!!
This light fixture we bought a long time ago at an auction. We did some research when we had it in our antique shop and found out it had originally held candles and was converted to electric. So we brought it home and it hangs in the corner of my living room.
Have a great Thursday everyone. We are expecting snow here in NE Ohio.Shirley
Love the transferware pot. And for some strange reason I really like the brown - one of my least favorite colors. Oddball I guess.
ReplyDeleteGreat vintage stuff thanks for sharing.

Hi Shirley, thanks for the information about the iron so that is how it works. Now I knew thanks again I do appreciate it -wink-
ReplyDeleteThat's a pretty teapot. Nobody saved my baby shoes. I remember it used to be popular to bronze baby shoes. I wonder what has happened to all the old shoes now.
ReplyDeleteBetter with age I always say.
ReplyDeleteHow about the red shutter in behind. Caught my eyes right away.
Awww! baby shoes, love them.
