A Winter Evening.

I thought I'd just write a little post since it's a couple days after Christmas. It's nice and toasty in my house and it has started to snow nice big flakes outside. However, it's night time and I can't take a picture of it. But here is my snowman by the fireplace. I've had this since I had my shoppe. It was handmade by some of the girls that had things in the shoppe. This whole guy goes down into that bottom box for storage till the next winter. The nice thing about snowmen decorations is that you can keep them out all winter; you don't have to put them away after Christmas!

My card from my daughter. She always signs it from all her animals and our horses.

Then I got some yummy things too!!! I haven't busted into the Godiva yet!

My sister got me the bird feeder. Mine is on it's last legs; about to rot off it's hook! This one holds a lot!!! The little red cage is for peanuts.

On Christmas morning, Rocky and I opened our presents together.

I guess he liked that one! I get all his toys at Goodwill!! (Shhhh) But 50 cents to $1.00 sure beats $6.00-14.00 for dog toys at the pet store!!!

Hmmmmm, wonder if this one bites!!!!!!!!!

Guess I'll go peak out and see how much it has snowed so far.
Have a good one.

  1. Your pictures are so cute Shirley. I love the snowman. It looks so cute next to your fireplace. Stay warm and I hope you don't have to go out and drive in the snow. Give Rocky a big ol hug for me.

  2. Oh, I DO love that snowman!!!! What a creative and clever idea.

  3. Rocky is too cute with all his new toys! What a great idea too about getting them at Goodwill :) My dogs shred so it only makes sense!!

  4. I was checking out your presents and I love the snowman. Very neat. Your doggie looks very happy with his presents. And I think the birds will love those new feeders. Happy New years to you and your family.

  5. What an adorable snowman -- glad you're all warm and cozy -- I think your little man looks very pleased with his toys (we won't tell your secret!) Happy New Year!

  6. Looks like you had a wonderful Christmas full of great surprises! And Rocky looks like he is loving his gifts too! :o)

Yay! I finally have a few free days off to read some great blog posts! Boy! Sure have missed that!)
Hope your Christmas was a very blessed one!
