From a Visit To Goodwill
On Saturday I stopped in Goodwill to see if there was anything interesting. Didn't find too much but went home with these 3 things.
This forsythia garland will be something perfect for me to use on a spring time tablescape.
It was $3.00 minus 20%.
My grand daughter's 4th birthday is coming up in March and I spotted this huge plastic horse that looks a lot like Echo!! Has a removable saddle and bridle. ($8.00 minus 20%)
And at 50 cents each I couldn't leave these blue denim salad plates!
Sometimes I find a lot and sometimes just a few things. The fun is in the hunt!!
I'll link up with Coastal Charm this week for "Nifty Thrifty Tuesday".

time to get the forsythia out! spring is coming
ReplyDeleteOh that Forsythia! I frame the top of my front door in it! The horse does look like Echo and I love the bridle/saddle contrast against the black! The blue denim plates...adorable! My kind of girl, Shirley...:)JP
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter's toy reminds me of my best friend in childhood. She wanted a horse so badly that her parents bought her a similiar toy, telling her if she learned to take care of it , they might get her a real one someday. She bragged to everyone she knew that her parents would be buying her a horse soon, until her mom made her stop saying that. Come to find out, IF they bought her a horse, it would be in the way distance future. I never learned if she got it though. Thanks for the memory.
ReplyDeleteShirley, you always come up with the best finds. I can't wait to see your denin table top.
ReplyDeleteHope you got the couch cleaned up.
Some days just go that way.
Hugs- Tete
I would have picked up the same items, except for the horsey, although it's a beauty! I love the blue plates. Nice finds..
