2012 Thanksgiving, Kids and New Puppy

I used to have all the Thanksgiving dinners at my house but since the grandkids have arrived and we also celebrate little Jack's birthday, we go to my sons house.  I get off really easy now since I just take a couple things.
This year I took a crock pot full of corn chowder and a blueberry and a banana bread.

My little family minus Michele who is taking the photo.
It was one delicious meal!!
The turkey was deep fried by my son.  A bunch of guys get together every Thanksgiving and do a bunch of them.

Yes, that's me with a mouthful of food glaring at the photographer!

Today was the first day we got to meet the new puppy.  She's just under 10 weeks old.
A beautiful little Weimaraner, the same breed as Gretchen was that they lost a few months ago.
She was 15 years old.

Here's my two grandchildren in their tree house.  Started by dad and will be finished next summer.

Look at those ears!  She's soooooo cute.

Awwwww.  She is at the age she tries to eat everything in the yard!

Her name is Sofie

Here's Michele meeting Sofie for the first time.

Linda, Ava and puppy.

My son and his son, Jack, looking over the toy ads!!

My two gorgeous grandchildren!
Ava and Jack

Hope you had a great get together with your family too.

  1. Sweet Blessings to you.
Sofie is really pretty. Think I'm having a change of heart and falling in love with greys. She's the perfect color.
