My husband and I owed an antique store for about 15 years.
It was called Woods & Goods.
I was looking for something in a deep desk drawer last night and came across this little flyer.
On the back of it I had copied something out of what looks to be the Country Home Magazine
from Dec. 1991
It says:
"Mend a quarrel, find a forgotten friend, share some treasure, keep a promise.
Find the time, forgo a grudge, forgive an enemy.
Apologize if you were wrong, think first of someone else, laugh a little, laugh a little more.
Decry complacency, say a prayer, welcome a stranger, gladden the heart of a child.
Take pleasure in the beauty of the earth.
Speak your love, speak it again, speak it still once again."
Some good words to live by!
Happy Saturday.
