Monday's Daybook, Sept. 7th, 2015

For Today:  Sept 6, 2015

Outside my window:  Sunny and hot and it's not even noon yet.

I Am Thinking:  I have to go out and bring the chickens in from the yard.
I Am Thankful:  That I've had my sister here visiting me for a couple weeks.
In The Kitchen:  There are still dirty dishes in the sink I've got to put in the dishwasher.

I Am Wearing:  My usual "uniform" of a t-shirt and running pants with my clogs.
I Am Creating:  Anxiety for myself because I plan too much for each day!!!!
I Am Going:  To stay home and put some more items on eBay!  (Maybe!)

I Am Reading:  Nothing at the moment.  I have to go to the library tomorrow.
I Am Hoping:  For some sales from the new items, (baby clothes), that I am trying on eBay.
I Am Looking Forward To:  A riding lesson tomorrow.

I Am Hearing:  Just the whir of the air conditioner.
Around The House:  Peace and quiet at the moment!

In My Garden:  Flower gardens look slightly better because we've had a little rain but the only thing left in my veggie garden are some small butternut squash and my row of carrots!
I Am Pondering:  Whether to go out and gas up the car and maybe stop in Target.  I know I shouldn't but hate to stay home when my sister is here because that's what she does at home.  (And this is her vacation after all!!)

One of My Favorite Things:  Bread pudding which I'm thinking of making today!
Quote of the Day:
A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:  Today, up for grabs, Tues. riding lesson and library, Wed. something fun with my sister, Thursday, take my sister halfway home and meet up with her husband at the Waffle house for "the exchange", Friday, weekly visit to thrift store and Aldi, the weekend, no plans yet.

Some of the new items I'm trying to sell on eBay.

I am linking this post with Simple Woman's Daybook.

Go have a visit and read about other woman's days.

(there's a link to my eBay page on R. sidebar)

  1. The quote of the day I do agree with.
I do like the children's clothes.

  2. Children cloths sell better than any other items. You should do well.

  3. I love your day book. I keep hoping it will inspire me to accomplish even half what you do! What fun to have a mini-staycation with your sister. Good luck with your ebay sales!

  4. Awesome photos! Bread pudding sounds so good right now... wish I had a working oven, lol...
That quote is great - if I can just hold out for 2 more years I'll have it made ;)
Hope you have a fabulous week!

  5. I wish I had a little girl again. You're selling such cute things!
I'm going to go look at your shop. I've been listing things in my shop this week, too.
I just found out that you can list to sell at a set price for free, too. That's extra great
because the listings last 30 days instead of 7! With the 2 renewals you can opt for, that
    makes ebaying much easier.
    Here's the link to mine.

I think your Daybook was terrific this week. So glad mine reminded you.

  6. Adore your quote! Good luck on your "shop"!
