Things In My Life That Are Blue.

Thanks Sally for hosting Blue Monday. Everyone go to Smiling Sally's site to see all the people who are joining this party!

A Welcome in Blue.

Aww, my hydrangea just starting to bloom. This year I'm going to try to dry some.

I love this Indigo Blue (Baptisma) in my front garden. I wish it bloomed longer though; only in May or June.

This is an antique quilt on display in the dining room

This antique quilt belonged to my grandmother.

My onion jar. I'm waiting for my onions that are growing in my garden. That's Miss Ellie in the window watching the birds at the feeder.

And last but not least, my favorite blue jean jacket.
Well, this was my first attempt. Hope I did this right! Bye for now. Have a great Monday.

  17. Shirley,
Great first post! I enjoyed the blue collection immensely. Love your first shot, kinda like a welcome sign into your Blue Monday post...your garden is lovely as well!

  18. This is a nice Blue Monday post. Your hydrangias are really beautiful. I'm glad your grandmother's quilt is in such good shape. I have a very old one that is in rags. Back then they made it out of old clothes, so it started out a bit worn. I hate to throw it away because of sentiment. I was thinking of perhaps making pillows from it. I never heard of an onion pot. Are the sides cut out for ventilation?
