Thank you again Susan for hosting this event that got us all started in collecting dishes!!!!! I love it. After you have a look here, visit the participants at http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ There is always the most beautiful and inventive ideas.
Pretty little porcelain cups with coasters that match. The teapot I've had forever, and the tray table, remember, I got a few weeks ago at GW and painted it white.
I got this little tea set (minus the pot), at Marshalls. It also came with a long little tray in the same design. All for $10.00.
What a pretty setting ... love those sugar tongs. Sweet cups, TTFN ~Marydon
ReplyDeleteBeautifully presented tea service, what a lovely cozy nook to sit back and relax. Thanks for sharing with us all.
ReplyDeleteShirely, what a precious room! I love your teapot you found, and those darling mugs. And that breakfast tray!!! Cute!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you didn't sell your precious tongs! Oh, perish the thought. They are wonderful. They look perfect with your tea tray, too.

ReplyDeleteWhat a pamper tray! I love the cups and coasters. I have really gotten an interest in teapots. I bought a really unique one today at the SA Thrift Store. I've got to find the link back to the tea party that Barb used to host. I know that someone picked it up but I lost the link.
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to join us on this weekend for the final Christmas in July Tablescape Party on Saturday (some may spill into Sunday since the 25th is Saturday. I am having a real CIJ family dinner on Sunday, but will post my table photos Friday night and Mr. Linky will be up and ready at Playing Dishes.

What a pretty tray Shirley. The tongs are so sweet I just love them in a bowl of sugar cubes. Sugar cubes are a little hard to come by around here but when I see them I stock up.

The tea tray is lovely. How nice to get the tray so thriftly. It all makes a pretty picture! As a Texan, tea is important - Iced or Hot.
