Thrifty Buys This Week

I know I'm a little late but it's still five minutes to midnight on Monday! Phew!!!!! I made it.

OK, so I didn't really need this set for EIGHT! But I just couldn't pass up the price of $10 for all. It's a cute wildflower pattern. I'll find someone to give it to!
(After I do one Tablescape : ))

This Wedgewood china was a little more than I usually pay at a garage sale ($10.) but I got a setting for four. It's in perfect shape. You can always use more white dishes, right : ))

I got this little soup tureen for $1.00. It was missing it's ladle but I had a silver one.

Isn't this the cutest little china clock. Got it at one of the most organized garage sale I was ever to. It was huge and prices were great. I went back again the next day!! This little clock was $1.00 and it just needed a battery.

Just wanted to show the basket I got last week. I painted it white and hung it on my front door with some summery flowers. Oh dear, better get to painting the door!!!
I just love your comments. Please drop by and say hello.

  2. All great buys...you had a good trip! Your flowers in the painted basket look very bright and cheerful. Love the dishes and the soup tureen. You guys have really ruined me...I never went to yard sales...now, every week, I'm always planning to get up early on Saturday and take off...my husband is loving it as he has always loved flea markets and yard sales and he couldn't get me to go.

  8. You found some wonderful buys. While $10 might seem a lot at a yard sale, they were Wedgewood, so they are a good set. The other deals were a steal. I have been having fun yard saleing this year too.
