Crock-Pot Barb BQ Beef

I'm joining in for Crock Pot Wednesday this week. Debbie hosts this little party every week and there's delicious things there to make in your slow cooker. So everyone go see what all the participants have posted for this week. http://diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com/

First cut into small chunks about 5 carrots, 5 little red skin potatoes and a large onion. Next time I'm going to cut up the carrots and potatoes a little smaller. It takes them forever to get done good!! I hate hard potatoes!

Cut up and brown about a pound of stew meat.

Pour about half cup of your favorite Barb BQ sauce over the top and for the surprising part . . . sprinkle about a TBSP of instant coffee over the top!

Cook on low for about 7-8 hours. About the last 15 minutes, pour in about a half bag of frozen peas.

Mmmmmm. It's really quite tasty!!!
Have a good Wednesday everyone.

  1. Looks wonderful!
I'm not a coffee drinker though...does it taste like coffee? I might try it if I can get a really good sale on the instant coffee!
