My Daybook for Today
I am thinking... I'm full! I ate a little too much for supper.
I am thankful... For this mild winter! (Except for the horses and the MUD!!)
In the kitchen... I hear my dishwasher going.
I am wearing... Jeans and a fleece top and my garden clogs I use for slippers.
I am creating... A few blogs to have on hand.
I am going... To my grand-daughter's 5th birthday party tomorrow night! I can't
believe she will be 5 years old already!
I am wondering... If I will ever be organized. I have articles and books about it. I read blogs about it but still here I am in a muddle and usually over-welmed plus I can't find anything!
I am reading... "The Joy of Keeping Chickens" and "Chicken Keeping for Dummies"!
I am hoping... That Steve, a carpenter friend, will have my chicken coop built in time! My chicks are due the first week in May.
I am looking forward to... Moving my horses to a new boarding barn the first week in April.
I am learning... that "Yes Virginia", there are some really nice horse people out there!
Around the house... I hear two snoring dogs!
I am pondering... "Is a spotless house really all that important?" I hope not!
A favorite quote for today... "In this house, dog hair is a condiment!"
One of my favorite things... My dog Rocky snuggling up to me when I wake him in the morning.
A few plans for the rest of the week: Birthday party tomorrow night. And on Thurs. the vet comes to the barn for spring vaccines and a Coggins test before my horses go to our new barn.
A peek into my day... I just wrapped Ava's presents; some are from my sister too.

Have a great day,

PS
Sorry about the spacing problem. Every time I tried to fix it, it got worse!
You have quite an agenda there, Shirley. I know you are going to have a grand time with your g'dau. They grow too quickly. The pink bunny ears adornment on the parcel is too cute.
ReplyDeleteWe had with the wind & cold some snow showers today that were very pretty.
I hope you will pop by to help us bring 'angel love' for a young girl who is sick.
Thank you.
Have a beautiful week ~
Marydon
I know what you mean about good intentions and organization. I can't seem to get going with my plan. I love the pink polka dot wrapping paper. So cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet post! I know winter was really mild here too! Wow... Lets hope Summer is mild too! -.-
ReplyDeleteHugs,
I really enjoyed reading your Daybook....and your quote made me smile because dog hair is most definitely a 'condiment' at our house too. :o)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me and leaving a comment, it's always fun to 'meet' new bloggy friends. :o)
