Miss Ellie's Bath and Squeaker The Wonder Cat

I'm joining Little Red House for "Mosaic Monday".

My cat Ellie
I didn't really need another cat but my daughter found this one in her apartment parking lot. It kept coming to her every night and was very young, so she finally brought it to my house, put her in my basement then left and called me!!!
So here she is years later. Fat and sassy. She's sort of stand-offish and will be petted but on her terms! She's not exactly a lap cat!
Rocky is scared of her!
Of Course!!

Squeaker
AND here's Squeaker. My free cat that has cost me at least a million!! He's diabetic and asthmatic. Lots of meds twice a day!! But he IS a lovey lap cat! He knows I've saved his life many times!!

  1. Shirley, I can't see the photo. I clicked on the little box and clicked open and still nothing.

  2. What beautiful cats Shirley! My heart just melts over such cuties. I'm sure you don't grudge spending so much on Squeaker - we had a cat who was accident prone, our vets built a big extension after we'd had him for about a year - I swear we paid for most of it!

  3. Ellie and Squeaker are both beauties. Our furbabies are important members of the family ...even with their medical bills! I agree with Rose ... we've paid for new equipment and a new vet with our *donations* to the vet!

  4. Ellie and Squeaker are beautiful. I have 2 like Ellie now- Doofus and Mr Wiggles. I had one like Squeaker- Knuckles- he had congestive heart failure and finally passed longer after they said he should have died. The meds weren't that expensive for him, but we had to give it to him twice a day.
I applaud your committment to them. Most wouldn't bother.
Hugs to you and your babies and Rocky, too - Tete

  12. Love your kitties~ we haven't had any for about 5 years but they were always so entertaining. Squeaker is a beauty and looks healthy for a diabetic asthmatic...it must be all that TLC he receives :-)
