Thank you Sally for hosting Blue Monday. Be sure you click right on over there and see what all the participants have found to be BLUE!!!! http://smilingsally.blogspot.com/
OK, Here it is. My Goodwill Store. And look . . . it has a great blue top!
This was one of my finds at GW this week for $7.00. Now that's more than I usually pay but then I got 20% off. I'm not sure if I'll use it like this (with a little more sanding) or maybe paint it. I liked the shape.
My husband, Jack and I went to New England for our honeymoon and we went through "The House of the Seven Gables". I just love old houses. This one of course had the hidden staircase. Fun!
Pretty little blue tea pot. Haven't used it yet in a table scape. I'm trying to find some blue dishes in that shade.
Well, teal is a shade of blue. I found this wonderful Colonial candle when I was cleaning out drawers.
Now, you're probably wondering why I put this Off Clip-On insect repellent on here!! Because "It really works!!!!" It has saved me from mosquito bites all summer! (And it's BLUE!) No smelly sprays just the almost silent hum of a little fan. You just clip it on your belt or lay it on a table. It's great.
Well that's all for now. Back to listing things on eBay!! I'm decluttering!
Beautiful blue tea pot, can't wait to see it in a tablescape. To answer you question about drilling into the rocks, DH got a kit at Lowe's
ReplyDeleteit already had the drill bit in it as well as the anchors you will need to hold your supports for your mantle. It really didn't take us that long to put it up, the real problem is getting it level. Thanks for visiting Copper~n~Things.

Ha Shirley it would be funny to go on Ebay and buy your stuff and then set my tables with all your stuff and blog about it. Okay I have no life. Sorry.
ReplyDeleteI have never seen one of those Off thingies. I hate mosquitoes and worry about West Nile. Where did you get it?
Shirley, I love your GW... is that tower a silo??? It's so cute!
ReplyDeleteI also like all of your finds and your neat plates. I think you did great with that shelf, and I will have to remember that about fans and mosquitoes.
Hope you have a Happy Blue Monday...
XO,
Sheila :-)
Wow. Your goodwill store is really unique. How fun is that. What great finds. Love the idea at keeping mosquitoes away, no smells!! Have a great Blue Monday.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is that teapot; the color blue is so true. Thanks for sharing. Happy Blue Monday.
