Thanks to Susan and all the participants in Metamorphasis Monday. After taking a look here, head on over to: http://betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com/ to see what everyone has come up with. Fun Fun!
Here are some mini painting transformations in the past couple weeks. The first one is actually my little favorite!! It was so sad and ugly at GW and everyone was passing it up. I could already see the black paint!
TaaDaaaaaa!
I just really love it now!!!! I put it in my lower bathroom on a shelf. (My BR is not ready for looking yet!!!! Just little peaks!) I first gave the little set of drawers an undercoat of red craft paint then sprayed it flat black; sanded the edges, wiped a little stain on and there she is! Cute as a button.
Here's the mirror I got from GW for a song.
I thought I'd like better black too. What do you think?
The last couple weeks I've fallen in love with black spray paint. This was satin. Quite a bargain for $5.00 hey!
Please leave me a little hello so I've know you visited. I'd love to come visit with you.Have a good Monday every one.

Love little chests like yours- such a sweet piece!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great job of keeping the spray paint from taking over and painting the seat! All three are great transformations.
ReplyDeleteLove it all! I am slowly added some black accents to our home! My husband said he's afraid I'll paint him, if he stands still long enough!

You certainly did a great job on your makeovers! I love your little black chair!
ReplyDeleteLove your transformations! I have begun to add black accents to our home too - and even in the bathroom, which will be shown in my GET R DONE meme on Friday -- the flooring is finally in - and it looks very rustic - perfect for our little cabin in the woods!

ReplyDeleteI love all your finds and I agree that almost everything looks better with a coat of spray paint! :)
