Well, here I am again Beverly. I searched and searched and actually found a few more pink things in my house!! Be sure to visit: http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/pink-saturday/
There's a big list of all the participants there.
I love these delicate pink sherbets that belonged to my Mom. I have 6 of them. They're etched with a gold band near the top.
I have several of these single cup and saucer sets. I like the look when they are all different for tea.
This old wing back chair belonged to my parents. It's this awful salmon pink color that doesn't go with anything I have but it costs a fortune to have things reupholstered these days!! (Note to self; take that throw off the back, it makes it look even worse!!!!) Well, the cats LOVE to lay on the velvet!
A pretty little oval box I've had for quite awhile. I think I got it to display some Mary Kay products during that part of my life when I was a consultant!
I love your ode to pink, well done, and I will take the sherbet glasses home any time you are tired of then,...
ReplyDeleteI love the glassware too. Have a look at my cranberry glass this week. Sadly - not mine!

I love seeing precious pieces that were handed down through time with love. Your grandmothers dishes are gorgeous. All of your other items are equally pretty and hold so many memories of times gone by, Happy Pink Saturday, Char

I have so little pink in my house but it used to be painted a bright raspberry pink in my entry way. But that was then and this is now.
ReplyDeleteShirely, you have some beautiful pink things, there! I particularly love your grandmother's limoges. It's gorgeous! And I love the dish you found this summer.

ReplyDeletePretty pinks. Love the dish and tea cup patterns!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh, what are you gonna make with all that rag "yarn?" I've always wanted to make a rag rug, but haven't had the inclination to make the rag yarn so far. Lovely things, thanks!
