Please visit Beverly's Pink Saturday Blog. There are a very large number of participants to this "pink party": http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/my_weblog/
This is my first Pink Saturday post so I am showing things from this summer. This will give me a real challenge with my photography each week, finding things that are pink since I'm not really a pink person! I can count about 6 things in my whole house that even approach being pink but we shall see.

Hi Shirley,
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing better than pink flowers. And yours are absolutely beauitful. Those roses on the bottom right corner of your lovely mosaic are the softest shade of pink I have ever seen. Simply beautiful. Thanks so much for sharing. Have a wonderful Pink Day.

Being a Texas Gal, I went right to the Pink Shuttered horse stall...didn't really think there'd be a Pink Horse, tho..lol! How many horses do you have and what are their names? Your mosaic is a Perfect Pink Saturday Start...Welcome. CollectInTexas Gal...Sue

Oh, Shirley! I'm so glad to see you here. I am going to have to be sure and join as a follower so I won't lose you again! I've been gone for a while from the blog circuit, but I'm back with a hopefully better laptop computer. They had to "tweak" it. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your mosaic. I think you will find that it's easier to find pink than you realize. Growing up, I could have found a lot of pink in our house... my pink room, pink phone, pink clothes, pink wallpaper, and then I turend blue! But I have touches of things still that are pink, and I'm gravitating toward it more the older I get. Maybe going through a second childhood?
Here's hoping you have fun on your first Pink Saturday. This is a wonderful group, and I always enjoy doing this Meme.
Much love and WELOME!
XO,
Sheila :-)

This could be a challenge for you, not owning much pink and all! I usually use images from online, so you should have no problems. I see you are a horse lady! I have several ladies in my family that have an intense love of horses and have their own, my Mom, 2 Aunts, 2 Cousins, and extended cousins. The have an annual reunion where they get together and have a "Pony Cousin" weekend with their horses. Their blog links are at the bottom of left side of my blog if you are interested. There are several.
