It's in the Crock pot!

Sweet and Sour Chicken

I know, this is the lazy way to put the recipe on so I hope you can read them. Any questions, please email me. (You can click the photo and make it big.)

It's Crock Pot Wednesday over at Dining with Debbie. I'm trying again! This cooking thing is always an adventure with me! Well, make sure to go over to Debbie's and see all the great things to make in your pot! http://diningwithdebbie.blogspot.com/

Cut up your veggies. (These are from my garden Tee Hee) No really!

Place in bottom of crock pot

Use 2 TBSP of instant tapioca

Sprinkle over veggies.

Mix these things plus soy sauce and brown sugar together in a bowl (Amounts in recipe above)

Place cut up chicken in pot over the veggies. Rocky says . . . "Chicken??"

The mixture of pineapple, soy, vinegar, brown sugar etc. goes over the chicken.

Rocky is very interested. "She cooking again, and it's only 10am!"

8 hours later (on low) and it's all ready. I had to thicken the sauce a little with some cornstarch.

Well, here it is and it was delicious. I missed the part about serving it over rice and I made potatoes. I like potatoes better anyhow. The chicken falls apart it's so tender. I ate too much. (The potatoes and tomatoes are from my garden : )) Aren't I domestic!!!
I'm glad to say this was another successful crock pot dinner. (That's two!)
Have a fun Wednesday. I'm babysitting. Hope things go well!
