Winter White Table

I'm joining Susan and her wonderful website, Between Naps On The Porch, for "Tablescape Thursday".

Winter Whites!

I think it's starting out to be a long white winter here in the Northeast!
So I'll start out the new year with all whites with a little silver and save the color for a little later in the winter when we really need it!!!

I love those big white sparkly pinecones I got half price at Walmart.

Snowflakes! That's for sure!!!

I love snowmen and they're good decor for all winter long.

Evening and candle light casts a different look on everything. A little warmer, if you don't look outside!

Stay warm!!!

  1. Shirley -- your dining room looks so lovely -- I remember when you were having all the work done on that and your kitchen --- I know you're having fun playing with your dishes on your pretty table. I love your pretty whites -- I'm thinking of trying a white table for the 1st tablescape of 2011. What a sweet little snowfella all nestled in the greens with the white candle. Amazing how the candlelight changes everything from cool to warm. Wishing you a wonderful 2011.

  2. Shirley, I love a white table. Yours is just beautiful! I love all the white elements laid out on a lovely dark table. The snowflakes on the table add a frosty delicate detail.Just so sweet.
And your candlelit pictures shows how pretty white looks when the glow of a candle turns it soft and golden.
What a lovely table! A joy!
    Have a happy New Year!

  4. WOW! I like it when the weather keeps you inside! Look at this! Longchamp is one of my favorite patterns and I haven't had it for a long time now. Used my beverages for everyday and they just all got broke through time and I never replaced them. Need to work on that.
I love your white punched tin basket in the middle!
Hope you and Rocky are staying warm!
