My Independent Bird Studies!!

There was no mommy home when I peeked in the bluebird house but I saw the male and female flying around watching me. I took a seat a ways back and had to wait about 15-20 minutes. They flew back and forth quite a few times as I was getting bit up with bugs at dusk! Finally the male landed on the house and I got this photo.

I had another find today. I was pruning a wild rose bush that was coming to far out onto the lawn when I heard a cardinal's high pitched chirping. She wouldn't stop so I figured I was by her nest. They build nests frequently in brambles and sometimes close to the ground. I looked around and there it was. There are 2 or 3 tiny, just hatched babies. I will get better photos in a few days.

Isn't nature amazing!!!!!!
